Add page numbers to a PDF

Add page numbers to a PDF in your browser. Every page gets "1 / 10" style numbering at the bottom centre, even on turned pages. Nothing is uploaded.

Good to know

  • Numbers are drawn in Helvetica, 10 pt, centred at the bottom of each page as it is displayed.
  • Existing content is not moved, so a number can overlap a footer that sits very low on the page.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add page numbers to a PDF?
Add the PDF and choose Add page numbers. Every page is numbered "page / total" at the bottom centre and the new file downloads straight away.
Are my files uploaded to number the pages?
No. The PDF is read and written inside this browser tab. MakeFilesEasy has no server that could receive it.
